Prepare yourself for another post in our Feeling Pretty series...
I've been meaning to write a post about the limited edition Wet n Wild Pampered Collection for a bit now, but it's better late than never right!?!
The Pampered Collection is Wet n Wild's Valentine's Day collection. The collection is all pretty in pink! There is an illuminating body glow, illuminating face mist, two shimmery lip glosses, two makeup sticks, face and eye quad palette, a lip mask, a lip scrub, a blush and a makeup sponge with a silicone head. If you're interested in the collection you can buy the full collection on Wet n Wild’s website.
As I've been collecting pieces from Wet n Wild limited edition collections for years and haven't used up a lot of it, I didn't really feel the need to get very many pieces of this collection. The things in the Pampered Collection that most caught my eye were the lip glosses!
Both of these lip glosses have a sheer coat and they are both shimmery/glitter. They feel a little bit moisturizing and aren't sticky. Sadly, the colors/sheens don't last for very long.
An unsolicited opinion: I personally didn't like the crowns on the makeup. Is that just me? At first glance, I actually thought the collection was for little kids, which struck me as odd - something about the generic crown felt kind of childish - and I had this knee-jerk worry that maybe the quality wouldn't measure up to the norms if it was geared towards kids.. I'm a big kid at heart! While I've been able to acknowledge there were some unnecessary concerns there, I'm still not a huge fan of the art of this collection. Anyway, I think this is the first time I haven't liked the packaging on Wet n Wild's makeup, so it seemed noteworthy. I think that collection would be perfect for little kids (or yes, old kids alike) who love princesses and want to rock some subtle, but beautiful makeup.
Pink Bubble Bath:
This pretty cool pink lip gloss has a subtle gold shimmer and is more subtle than the other gloss. The gloss doesn't have a grit to it! Pink Bubble Bath can be purchased on Wet n Wild’s website.
Glitz Ritual:
This is a beautiful warm peach-coral gloss with gold glitter and it looks so pretty on the lips! There isn't a grit, which is awesome, as that's often the case with glitter glosses. Glitz Ritual can be purchased on Wet n Wild’s website and Ulta Beauty.
I like both of these glosses! I also wouldn't complain if the Glitz Ritual has more glitter, but I still think that both glosses are pretty.
I can't wait to see what collection they launch next!
