DIY HALLOWEEN CARD: THE STYLISH WITCH DESIGN

Prepare yourself for another post in our Crafty Chaos series...

Check out this cute Halloween card! :)

Isn't that witch stylin'?! Of course she is! And you can make your very own "Stylish Witch" card for Halloween of 2013, using a Cricut Cartridge called "A Frightful Affair" on (Cricut Craft Room...or you can just buy the cartridge)! Here is how...

Step 1: Cut out the bottom layer in green, the middle layer in white, and the top layer in black at about five inches tall.

Step 2: Use the Scotch Glue Stick to glue all of the layers of the witch together.

Step 3: Pick out a card--we used a dark purple!

Step 4: Before gluing the orange layer onto the card, ink up the edges with some black ink! Then use a heat tool to help the ink dry faster (so you don't end up smudging the ink all over). A blow-dryer would work, too, if you don't have a heat tool.

Step 5: Finally, glue the orange layer to the card.

Step 6: Center and glue the witch onto the orange layer/card.

And...wallah! That is it! Now you have yourself a lovely "Stylish Witch" card!

Materials:

(All can be purchased at your local Hobby Lobby for fairly cheap...except for the hair dryer...unless you have an exceptionally weird Hobby Lobby in your area):

-Purple card of paper to make/fold card

-Cricut; cartridge: "A Frightful Affair"

-(Optional but awesome: Cricut Craft Room (save you a lot of paper)

-1 11x8.5 sheet of orange paper (cut down)

-1 sheet of green paper (6x11 (a cut down 11x8.5) is what I used)

-1 sheet of white paper (6x11 (a cut down 11x8.5) is what I used)

-1 sheet of black paper (6x11 (a cut down 11x8.5) is what I used)

-Adhesive (The Scotch Glue is my new favorite thing!)

-Black Ink pad

-Optional: heat tool (or hair dryer)

Happy Halloween, and happy card-making!
