WITCH JACK-O-LANTERN

Prepare yourself for another post in our Crafty Chaos series...

I've seen some variation of this cute pumpkin decoration on social media and I was determined to make my own darling witch jack-o-lantern decor!

I bought three jack-o-lanterns at Walmart for $1.94 each, then cut the handle off of the bucket on each side.

When the handles were cut off, I proceeded to glue the three jack-o-lanterns one on top of the other using E6000 adhesive. After gluing, I grabbed a paper towel and wiped away the excess glue.

It can take 24-72 hours for the E6000 to cure, so I waited until the next day to continue!

After it dried, it was to spray paint! I used Charcoal Rust-Oleum Metallic spray paint, which I picked up at Walmart for $9.98.

I painted the trio jack-o-lanterns from two angles. I sprayed it first right-side up. After that coat dried, I turned it upside down to spray the bottom of the pumpkins and the upper lip.

After spray painting every inch, I took it to the garage for it to cure. There was a breeze outside and since the jack-o-lanterns don't weigh much, I didn't want to risk the wind knocking it over and ruining the paint job!

I bought a cute lace witch hat with black feathers and a glitter skull from Walmart for $6.98. I stuffed some plastic grocery bags into the witch hat so the hat to help it look fuller and keep its shape (tissue paper or something similar would also work).

After filling it up I put Gorilla duct tape over the hole with the bags to prevent them from falling out. When Halloween is over, the tape and bags can removed from the hat to flatten it, making it easier to store away for next year!

That's how you can make your own adorable witch jack-o-lantern decoration! It was such an easy and affordable project!!! I'd love to see your take on this project!
