WET N WILD: ALICE IN WONDERLAND COLLECTION

Prepare yourself for another post in our Feeling Pretty series...

I got really excited about this collection when my sister first saw it on social media and told me about it. We both scoped out the full collection on the Wet n Wild website before the launch to decide what we wanted to get from the collection once we found it in stores.

Kaitlyn found the limited edition collection at her local Walmart and I found it at my local Walmart about a week later. The display has the products on three sides. One side of the display carries bronzer palette, highlighter palette, blush palette, and a multi-stick set on the first row. On the second row has a two piece sponge set. The third row has a fast dry nail polish set (two colors) and a hand mirror.

The next side of the display has a six piece file set, two face and body gems, and a white liquid eyeliner. In the middle section, there are two liquid cheek and lip colors, two liquid eyeshadows, and three lip glosses. The bottom section holds makeup remover towelettes.

On the final side of the display, there is an eye and face palette on the first row, makeup brush set on the second row, and makeup bags on the final row.

The packaging on the Alice in Wonderland collection is so cute! I fell in love with both the eye and face palette and the shimmery red lip gloss.

Lost In Wonderland Eye and Face Palette:

The eye and face palette has such beautiful bright colors. I like that there are neutral colors and bright colors. There's also a mixture of matte, shimmer/metallic, and glitter pigments. Most of the pigments feel soft and buttery, blendable, and pigmented. But there is a little bit of fallout. The glitter shades do have a little bit of a grit to them, but over all the grit isn't that bad. The embossed pigments are so dang cute. Six of the pigments aren't eye safe. The packaging on the palette is super cute, I like how it's not just good guys from Alice In Wonderland - the bad guys are included too!

The Lost in Wonderland palette can be purchased at the Wet n Wild websiteAmazon, Walmart, Ulta, Walgreens, CVS, and Target.

First row of shadows:

I'm Late is a cool matte white.

Drink Me is a cool white iridescent glitter (this glitter has the worst fall out in this palette).

Cheshire is a cool matte rose pink (it's a dustier pink in person).

Merry Unbirthday is a cool glitter rose gold.

Mary Ann is a cool shimmer violet with blue sparkles.

Second row of shadows:

Not All There is a cool matte fuchsia (it's dustier in person).

Delightful Child is a warm matte turquoise.

Best Butter is a warm shimmery metallic Egyptian gold.

Always Curious is a warm glitter apricot.

Tea Anyone? is a cool shimmer chocolate brown with silver sparkle (it has more of a cool tone than of a warm tone).

Third row of shadows:

Hungry Walrus is a warm matte sepia.

Bonkers is a cool shimmery metallic gold brass.

Dinah is a cool shimmery metallic rose gold.

In Command is a cool shimmery metallic fuchsia (it's a bit of a brighter pink in person).

Rabbit Hole is a shimmer navy with silver, magenta, and blue sparkle.

Not a Weed Lip Gloss:

I originally wasn't planning on getting this lip gloss when Kaitlyn and I looked at the Wet n Wild website, but when I saw this gloss in person at Walmart, I fell in love. This red shimmery lip gloss is so beautiful the picture really doesn't do it justice! It reminds me a bit of the Wet n Wild Zodiac lip glosses - it's a different color than any of the glosses in that collection, but it has beautiful fine glitter like the Zodiac glosses did.

The Not A Weed is a bright red with a bit of an orange tone, with gold fine glitter. There is a bit of a grit with it being a glitter lip gloss, but it's not terrible in my opinion. Although I do believe that my sister would disagree with the grit; the first comment she made was about the grit of the gloss, but she did agree that the gloss is pretty. A part of me was a bit nervous that it wouldn't look good on me since it does have a bit of an orange tone, but I love it! It's so pretty and shimmery!

That Way Liquid Lip and Cheek Color:

This cool dusty pink product is made to be worn as a blush and/or as a liquid lipstick. I personally don't like to wear blush, since my face naturally has a pink/red tone. So I only tried it as a lipstick! It reminded me more of a mousse lipstick. I've heard when it's worn as a blush it does have a blurring effect on the skin. It blends easily, has a dewy finish, and it's buildable.

The applicator is bigger than the average lip gloss applicators', I'm guessing to make it easier for applying it as a blush, but it makes it more difficult to apply as a lip gloss. Kaitlyn and I both agree that this is better worn as a blush instead of a lip gloss. When I applied it to my lips, I noticed right off the bat that it was already creasing on the lips. I usually don't experience that unless I've been wearing lip products for hours. It also peeled pretty badly. The test wear was only one and a half hours long, because I just couldn't stand wearing it any more!

It did remind me a bit of an older Wet n Wild limited edition lip gloss.

If you already own Got The Scoop lip gloss from the Wet n Wild collection, just use that instead. I wouldn't recommend buying That Way if you're only going to use it as a lip gloss. It might work much better as a blush though!

In A World Of My Own Nail Polishes:

These 40 seconds fast dry nail polish comes in a set of two. I wouldn't say that they dry in 40 seconds, but they still do dry pretty quickly! I need about two or three coats for the application of the polish. The polishes actually made me think of Cinderella instead of Alice in Wonderland, but the colors are pretty!

Invitation:

This pretty warm bumblebee yellow is such a beautiful shade of yellow, but I did experience some air bubbles in the polish after applying to my nails.

Yes, Miss Alice:

This cute cool pale turquoise is probably my favorite of these two! I did experience some air bubbles, but not as bad as the Invitation polish after applying to my nails.

I highly recommend that you check out the Wet n Wild's Alice In Wonderland Collection, and grab some of these limited edition products while they are still available! They are all so bright and beautiful! What is your favorite product from the collection? Let me know in the comment section below!
