Prepare yourself for another post in our Feeling Pretty series...and also prepare yourself for me getting way too excited about nail polish again.
I recently found some smoothie-themed Sinful Colors polishes from their Fresh Squeeze collection (a collab with Winnie Harlow), and listen...I'm a sucker for anything themed. Food? Colors? Cute names? Immediate yes.
They were $2.99 each at Target — which honestly makes my little bargain-loving heart very happy.
There are several shades in the collection, but i currently own three.
Despite the smoothie theme, these are not textured (which I half expected for some reason). They apply smooth like regular polish. The formula is jelly-based, so the first coat looks little questionable — but don't panic — it builds up nicely after a couple coats
This one is a berry pink with fine matte black glitter and dries matte.
It's supposedly cherry-inspired...but to me it screams strawberry/watermelon vibes. Either way — it's cute.
I tried it matte first, then added a clear gloss top coat. Kaitlyn and I both agreed it looked better glossy — the glitter pops more and it looks juicer (which feels on-theme, honeslty)

Lime Light
This shade is a kiwi green with the same fine matte black glitter, also drying matte.
Calling it "Lime Light" feels like false advertising because this is 100% kiwi energy. But I'll forgive them because it's adorable.
This one had the thinnest formula of the three — definitely needed extra coats.
I tested matte vs. glossy again, and this time I actually preferred the matte finish. It made the black glitter stand out more without the shine competing.

Blueberry Smash
Last is this medium indigo shades (leans a little more purple in person) with — you guessed it — matte black glitter.
I added a gloss top coat to this one too, and again Kaitlyn and I both liked it better glossy. It gives it that syrupy blueberry smoothie look.
Now I'm hungry. I also want more nail polish. Dangerous combo.

From what I've heard, there are six shades total in the Fresh Squeeze collection. I've only personally seen four in the stores and five online — so either one is elusive...or I just need to shop harder.
Tragic, really.
Overall, I love all three shades — both matte and glossy. Removal is a little extra work (thanks, glitter), so I highly recommend using a peel-off base coat unless you enjoy scrubbing your nails like you're sanding furniture.
Sinful Colors has always been one of my favorite affordable brands, and fun collections like this are exactly why.
If you've tried any of the other Fresh Squeeze shades, let me know which ones I need to hunt down next.
